Beer yeast converts sugars from malted grains into alcohol and carbon dioxide through fermentation.

Appearance: Small, powdery granules or pellets

Taste: No discernible taste

Texture: Powdery or granular, similar to finely ground flour or sand

pH: optimal at 5.5
