Specification
Appearance: White to off-white crystalline powder. The individual crystals of vanillin are fine and may resemble small sugar granules. It contains a rich, sweet, and creamy aroma with a vanilla-like taste.

Melting point: 81-83C or 177-181F

Solubility: Soluble in alcohol, ether, and chloroform. Sparingly soluble in water.
