Application
Cream powder is used as a texture enhancer, to add creaminess, and to extend shelf life. Non-powdered dairy products generally have short shelf lives, but by removing the moisture from dairy products, shelf life increases. Once water is readded to the cream, it can be used as a ‘fresh cream’ in desserts, sauces, soups, baked goods, coffee, and more.

Formulation
Cream powder is formulated by removing the moisture from cream, and it results in a concentrated form of dairy fat. This contributes to the smooth texture, creamy consistency, and rich taste when water is re-added to the powder.
