NFDM High Heat is produced by spray-drying liquid milk after the fat has been removed. The milk was previously pasteurized to eliminate bacteria, then the fat is separated through a centrifugarl separation process. Once the fat is removed, the remaining liquid milk is spray-dried to produce a fine powder. The powder is then treated at high temperatures (121C or 250F) to improve the heat stability.
